The Nonviolent Movement, founded by Aldo Capitini after the first march of Perugia-Assisi as a form of organization of existing integral pacifist forces, has been active since 1961.
Its purpose today as it is, is to develop and disseminate the nonviolent method through “group work, with people in multiple places”, which are centers of promotion of the nonviolent ideal at a local and national level and engage collectively in social action.
The primary areas of activity of the Nonviolent Movement are: antimilitarism, disarmament, peace education, defense of human rights, bottom up democracy, nonviolent conflict transformation, environmental protection, a sustainable economy, civil service, and non-armed and nonviolent civil defense.
Founded in 2009, INNETICA is a non-profit association (NGO) whose mission is to promote cooperation between entities across Europe to promote European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union. Its mission is to promote social innovation projects, in addition to developing educational projects and teaching activities. INNETICA has among its aims to promote sustainable development through initiatives aimed at protecting the environment.
INNETICA associates university entities, public bodies, companies, training centres, as well as intellectuals, professionals and volunteers who contribute their ideas and experiences for the change and improvement of European societies.
Union of European Federalists
The Union of European Federalists (UEF) is a pan-European, non-governmental political organisation dedicated to the promotion of European political unity.
It was founded shortly after World War II, in the belief that only by uniting into a European Federation could the states of Europe overcome the divisions of the past and ensure a future of peace and economic prosperity. Throughout the past 70 years we have been a leading voice in the promotion of European unity and an early campaigner for key milestones in the development of the European Communities and then the European Union.
Founded in 1998, Activity Foundation brought together and promoted individualities with different preoccupations with the desire of sustaining the Romanian civil society, individualities that mix practical experience and academically perspective.
This aspect is maintained not only by the ACTIVITY Foundation status but also by all the actions and rolled projects.
The Tudás Alapítvány (Foundation of Knowledge) was formed in 1994 with the following objectives: to support young artists and their art exhibitions, to support lecturers and researchers, to support book and journal publishing, to release various publications, to organise scientific and cultural conferences, to cultivate cultural contacts between European nations, to present and support Hungarian culture abroad, to support the studies of talented students.
